Originally from Japan, Shono worked as a stretch therapist for 8 years, providing treatments to nearly 1,000 clients annually.
He specializes in hands-on stretching and movement-focused treatment designed to help people move better, reduce tension, recover faster, and feel stronger in their everyday lives.
His approach goes beyond temporary relief. By improving mobility, addressing movement limitations, and helping clients better understand their bodies, Shono aims to improve not only physical condition, but overall quality of life.

Scott Coughlin
Scott is a passionate physiotherapist with a strong background in exercise physiology and rehabilitation. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology at the University of British Columbia before completing his Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. During his time in Sydney, Scott gained experience treating a diverse range of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological, and sports-related conditions, including working as a team physiotherapist with a professional basketball team.
Scott takes a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation, drawing on his background in exercise physiology and neurophysiology to understand how the body moves and adapts throughout the recovery process. He combines hands-on treatment with targeted exercise, movement retraining, and patient education to develop individualized rehabilitation programs based on each person’s goals and needs.
With experience across a broad range of conditions, Scott is passionate about all aspects of rehabilitation—from recovering from an acute injury or surgery, to managing persistent pain, improving strength and mobility, returning to sport, or simply helping people move and function at their best. Jordan Evenson
Jordan completed over 3,000 hours of Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy training in Calgary and has over four years of experience working in physiotherapy clinics and spa settings. She has extensive experience treating clients recovering from motor vehicle accidents, whiplash injuries, post-concussion symptoms, headaches, neck pain, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Jordan Is qualified in Swedish massage, Lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, cupping, deep tissue release, TMJ, prenatal massage, hot stone, and advanced spa techniques.
Jordan is passionate about helping people feel their best and believes in treating the body and mind together to support lasting health and recovery. Victor Gao
Victor graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2023. Prior to becoming a RMT, he completed a Bachelors in Kinesiology as he found immense interest in learning about the human body, and being able to apply the lessons into his own life.
As a registered massage therapist, Victor focuses on creating an environment where patients can be comfortable sharing their concerns, and treating towards a common goal shared by the patient and practitioner. His approach to treatment is heavily guided by the biopsychosocial model, desensitization, relaxation, and patient education. Ryan Wanaguru
Ryan graduated from the University of Sydney in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy). He since worked in hospitals and privately and trained under some of the best physios in the field. He has taken on sports teams on the weekend and values one-on-one treatment, developing trust and personalised treatments for each client.
Ryan has traveled to over 50 countries and made Canada his home in 2012. He has been working at Vancouver General Hospital and in private clinics prior to opening PhysioGURU in 2019.
